State Rep. Angela Rigas last Wednesday took the ceremonial oath of office as a state representative in the Michigan House. Clerk Gary Randall administered the oath in the state Capitol in Lansing.
Rigas said she is thankful to be given the chance to fight for her constituents while working to preserve their rights and liberties.
The first-term legislator represents the 79th District, which includes portions of Allegan, Barry, and Kent counties, encompasses a part of Byron Township, and all of Caledonia, Gaines, Irving, Leighton, Rutland, and Thornapple townships.
