State Rep. Bradley Slagh (R-Zeeland) invites residents to join him at his upcoming evening office hours in Jenison, Hudsonville and Zeeland.
Local office hours are an opportunity for constituents to meet face-to-face with Rep. Slagh to share their thoughts, questions, and concerns. No appointments are necessary to attend.
The meetings will be held on Monday, March 20 at the following times and locations:
- From 4 to 5 p.m. at Hudsonville City Hall located at 3275 Central Blvd. in Hudsonville
- From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Georgetown Township Library located at 525 Baldwin St. in Jenison
- From 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Biggby Coffee 501 W. Main Ave. in Zeeland
“I look forward to providing a legislative update to my friends and neighbors throughout the 85th District,” Slagh said. “We’ve had a great turnout in the past and I hope to see new faces at these evening office hours.”

Rep. Slagh has introduced legislation to clarify the intent of an existing state law that prevents the taxable value of a home from being uncapped when ownership is transferred between close relatives.

During a House Appropriations Committee meeting, Slagh offered an amendment to prohibit taxpayer funding for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training from being included in several Michigan state budgets unless the law requires it. The legislator said the training is an unnecessary use of the people’s money.
