State Rep. Timmy Beson, of Bangor Township, today invited residents of Bay County to an office hour event on Friday, Jan. 28.
Beson will host the meeting from 9-10:30 a.m. at Bangor Township Hall, 180 State Park Drive in Bay City.
The event is open to the public. Beson will provide information about his work in the state Legislature, and he looks forward to meeting with Bay County residents to hear directly from them.

Beson represents the 96th House District, which includes the cities of Bay City and Essexville, as well as Bangor, Frankenlust, Hampton, Kawkawlin, Merritt, Monitor and Portsmouth townships.
Rep. Beson says while the Governor claimed credit for afflicted business relief in Wednesday’s State of the State Address, she also vetoed similar relief in legislation he sponsored a year ago. Rep. Beson adds that retirement tax reform in Michigan is a matter of fairness.
