Rep. Bierlein begins second term in Michigan House

PHOTO INFORMATION: State Rep. Matthew Bierlein (right), of Vassar, today was sworn in for a second term in the Michigan House of Representatives by Michigan Supreme Court Justice Kyra Harris Bolden.

Bierlein was joined by (from right) Frankenmuth mayor Tom Meyer and Tuscola County Sheriff Ryan Robinson.

Bierlein serves the 97^th House District, which spans portions of Bay, Genesee, Saginaw and Tuscola counties.

The Michigan House of Representatives held its first session day of the 2025-26 legislative term after members were formally sworn in.
